Those who are familiar with running probably are aware of the terms, “Hitting the Wall” and “Walk Break”. Since running is pretty much really teaches about life, the two previous mentioned terms are aptly applicable to life as well.

In life we can find ourselves being injured although not always physically when we push ourselves beyond the limit without the necessary preparation or proper training. That is why for runner especially in the long distance run it is not uncommon nor even considered cheating to find people doing “walk break” or a period of walking during long run. Jeff Galloway, a runner and author considers it a “secret weapon”. In “walk break” your muscle are given a chance to recover. In life we should not simply be running all the way toward our pursued finish line in haste. We could do “walk breaks”. Slowly cruise our way toward the finish line. After all what is important is your able to cross the finish line and enjoy the laurel regardless of whether you have beaten your own personal best or a world record.
